Why do I have to apply?
Because there are limited artworks available, HENI tries to ensure that everyone has a chance to purchase one, which means there is an application period.
Due to the high demand for, HENI tries to ensure that the artworks are sold broadly and fairly (rather than on a ‘first come, first served’ basis). This means there is a short allocation period after the applications close, where HENI uses a mixture of random selection along with other criteria designed to achieve a broad and fair allocation of the work.
